Not that I'm aware of. Maybe with a premium account.

does megaupload allows resumes? cause most of the roms are uploaded on this site.

Not on the same link...however.

I don't know about jDownloader, but I've been resuming downloads at MegaUpload (accountless) with Flashget and Orbit.
I think it would be roughly the same procedure as with those programs.
Here's the gist below:

1)If your link isn't working, go get another one from MU, ifile, or whoever is hosting the file.
2)Go to the properties of the busted download (in jDownloader, Flashget, etcDownloader) and paste the new link over the old one.
3)Try resuming the download.

Some notes:
Make a copy of the incomplete file as a backup. I borked it once and it overwrote the file starting from scratch.
If it resumes with your previous progress intact.... great success. Delete backup.
If not, Delete the overwritten file, then copy the backup into the download directory and make sure it's name is the same as the original. You're set to try again.

For Flashget (and maybe others?) at MU:
When the download button appears, Right Click it, choose Copy Link Location. Go to step 2).
If you're asked if you want to add the link as a mirror, choose no. Choose yes, and the old link will keep trying to connect wasting bandwidth.

MU links I get as a non member (Copy Link Location, Paste) look like this:

http://www221.megaupload.com/files/blahblahblahsomesh1tschanged1234/My_MU_example.zip
1111111111111111111111111   222   3333333333333333333333333333    444444444444444

Some ifile examples:
http://dl1.s13.ifile.it/z9abcdef/ifile_example.zip
http://dl1.s13.ifile.it/g1hijklm/ifile_example.zip
11111111111111    333333    444444444444

Those sections of numbers under the example links denote (I think):
1. Host IP.
2. Directory path within the host.
3. A ticket/hash key generated by some kind of algo (and or black magic, depends on the site).
Probably uses your IP and a timestamp to generate. If just an IP, you could resume if it hadn't changed since.
4. The filename.

Generally the ticket is the only thing that's changed between links for any given file in my experience.
*On some sites, MU included, if you start then stop downloading over a link as a non member, you can't resume even after mere seconds.
Even  sites that support resuming such as ifile sometimes require a new link. The linked to server might've choked or become self aware or something...It happens.

Hope this helps.
If not there's always your program's homepage.

*Edit: MU is allowing resumption for me lately...Weird.

hey not sure if this has happened to anyone else but recently, JDownloader hasn't been able to reconnect to the internet. I haven't had this problem before... just followed this tutorial and it's worked fine but now it's saying that my "reconnection isn't configured correctly." I'm totally stumped.  :P
