Game Boy Player Start-Up Disc (U) [oRARs]
« on: January 30, 2009, 03:38:12 PM »

DOWNLOAD
http://www.mediafire.com/?t15mmmyfzgz

This download is useful only to people with a Gamecube that is modded to read backup discs and they have a GameBoy Player.  Wii owners, Dolphin users and folks with a GameCube but no GB Player, this is useless to you.

It's not a game.  If you have the gameboy player device which attaches to the bottom of the gamecube, this is the software necessary for the gamecube to operate the player.

The player allows you to play GameBoy cartridges on your gamecube.  I have one and you can buy it at Gamestop for $15.

I have the NTSC-J version of this if anyone wants it. I have removed the junk data and compressed it to 1.66mb...It extracts to 1.35gb, no need for fstfix.

You need to use a Gameboy emulator to emulate Gameboy games... running an emulator through an emulator is a bit mental!
"Also when burning backups, rather then buying smalling diameter disks couldn't I just be cheap and trim the standard ones with scissors?"

This isn't an emulator, it's the software that interfaces with the GBA Player device.

But still, the point is why would you want to?

This is useful for those who have a chipped cube and the player.  It allows them to use the GB player without having to use the original startup disc. It's also useful it you lost your startup disc or have a severe scratch on it.
